Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Assistant
About The Role:
As Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with both digital marketing & ecommerce activities. You will work closely with the founders of Candid, a leading commercially focused ecommerce agency, in delivering strategies, managing online marketing channels, analysing data ensuring our clients online businesses are running smoothly.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the dynamic and fast-paced world of online marketing, working hand in hand with senior leadership.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Collaborate with the Candid founders to create and execute effective marketing campaigns across various online channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, PPC and content marketing.
- Assist in writing and proofreading engaging and persuasive marketing content, including blog posts, emails, social media posts, and ad copies.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, consumer behaviours, and competitive analysis to refine marketing strategies.
- Monitor and analyse website analytics, campaign performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and optimise marketing initiatives.
- Assist in managing online advertising campaigns, including setting up, tracking, and reporting on paid media campaigns.
- Support the execution of search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies to improve organic search rankings and website traffic.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure consistent branding and user experience across digital assets.
- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas and insights to the team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts, tools, and platforms.
- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with social media management and engagement.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Previous experience or internship in digital marketing or related field.
- Experience with email marketing tools and marketing automation platforms.
- Basic graphic design skills using tools like Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and web content management systems (CMS).
- A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
- Certification in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or other relevant digital marketing certifications.
Salary: £20,000 – £23,000 depending on experience
